Jacques Visser

Jacques Visser Jacques has been involved in the executive and strategic management of companies for the past 7 years as well as consulting as an advisor with the executive management of the Franklin Templeton Group of Companies on a global scale as well as with the management of clients of Algebra on a regional basis.

His experience ranges from the start-up, licensing, purchase, sale and IPO of a number of commercial entities in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Before moving to Dubai at the end of 2002, he was employed by Nedbank, which is part of the FTSE 100 Old Mutual Group of companies having responsibilities in a number of different jurisdictions across Africa, Hong Kong, Mauritius, London and the Isle of Man.

During his career, Jacques held various leadership positions within the institutions he represented. He was on the executive leadership committee of Dubai Bank, a board member and executive committee member for audit and risk at Algebra Capital. Mr. Visser was also a member of the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) funds panel in charge of reviewing all of its fund rules and regulation.


Alain Antoniades

Alain Antoniades Alain’s career spans over 20 years, 11 of which in Dubai, starting in 1990 at the Republic National Bank of New York in Montreal (later acquired by HSBC), where he was the Trading Operations Manager.

Following his move to the Middle East, he held management positions at Middle East Capital Group (MECG) in Beirut and SHUAA Capital in Dubai. More recently, Alain was one of the founding members, involved at an executive and strategic level as Chief Operating Officer with Algebra Capital in Dubai and was the advisor on all operational, technology, administration and human resource matters during the sale of the company to Franklin Templeton, a global Asset Management firm with over $700 billion under management.

During his career, Alain was responsible for setting up the systems and operational infrastructures for asset management, brokerage, corporate finance, capital markets, and other investment businesses, primarily in the MENA region. Alain was involved in the project management, infrastructure setup and coordination with syndicates, administrators, and custodians in various capital market transactions where his firms assumed a lead role, including, but not limited to local exchange equity IPO's, international exchange equity IPO's (GDR's), primary market debt issues, equity and debt funds and private equity funds.
